AMX announces the release of two multi-stream preview devices, the Modero X Series Multi-preview (MXA-MP) and the Modero X Multi-preview Live (MXA-MPL).
The MXA-MP delivers preview images from as many as 10 video sources to Modero X Series Touch Panels and the MXA-MPL adds live HD video streaming. Source images are lined up side by side and can be easily swiped in one direction or another. The new products are designed for use in meeting rooms or conference spaces.

“We created an ultra-low, ultra-wide panel interface that would not obstruct the view between presenters and attendees but more importantly, would give them the ability to view several source preview widows in a side by side row,” AMX Senior Product Manager Eric Neilson said in a prepared statement.

Users have the option of configuring their interface in a way that allows them to touch a selected preview screen and immediately have that source’s video output show on a meeting room screen or display. The selected sources’ function controls will automatically be displayed on a touch panel that allows the user to control the device as needed.

The MXA-MP and MXA-MPL are designed for use with Modero X Series Touch Panels and can easily be integrated with Enova DVX All-In-One Presentation Switchers and Enova DGX Digital Media Switchers. Both feature HDMI video outputs and support AMX’s SmartScale technology with input resolutions up to 1280 x 720p. Both pass an Ethernet connection to the Modero X Series without the need for a dedicated IP address.

Orders are currently being accepted for the Modero X Series Multi-Preview, which began shipping in June. The Multi-Preview Live will not be available until later this year.
