Whiteboards provide an effective means of communicating information in a variety of commercial situations.

Hitachi’s new iP J-AW250N interactive projector is said to provide all the benefits of a traditional whiteboard without the added expense of adding accessories into the installation.

The iP J-AW250N utilizes IR technologies to turn a flat surface into an interactive whiteboard. According to the company, the iP J-AW250N provides reliable performance through the use of ultrasonic technologies. The projector incorporates HDMI, S-video, composite video, RGB inputs and outputs, stereo mini-jack RCA, and microphone inputs and outputs. In addition, the projector is said to have an easy-to-use menu system, and works with PowerPoint, Word, PDF, JPEG and other various file formats.

Hitachi says the projector is at home in any environment that requires interactive A/V whiteboard technologies.
