LG Electronics is expanding its line of commercial displays at Digital Signage Expo 2012, led by its largest LED display yet.
The 72-inch 72WS70 LED Large Screen Display, is designed for large-scale signage needs in hotel lobbies, theaters, shopping centers and airport and transportation environments.
The 1080p 72WS70 features a 500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 12 ms response time, direct LED backlighting, local dimming capability, 700nits of brightness and a built-in media player for content distribution that integrates with LG’s SuperSign Elite-w Lite web-based management platform.
“We understand that business owners need to engage their customers quickly and effectively to provide the best ROI (return on investment) for their company,” says Dan Smith, director of digital signage sales, LG Electronics USA.
The Energy Star-certified 72WS70 also features LG’s IPS panel technology that helps display content more crisply and accurately for off-angle viewing. The IPS panel widens the optimal viewing angle, allowing customers to display their signage or multimedia content to audiences across a larger area.
The 72WS70 also includes Auto Brightness Sensor technology that automatically adjusts screen brightness based on the lighting conditions.
