LG announces that their new LQ630H LED displays will incorporate the Pro:Centric platform for health care use. With the Pro:Centric platform, the LED displays are now capable of functioning as informational hubs, administrative tools and expanded entertainment options.
With this specific platform the new displays can run Java- or Flash-based programs, enabling patient-technology interactivity. Plus, with Pro:Centric the type of data and services administered can be personalized specifically to each patient, broadening the options for patient customer service. Patients can control both their televisions and the interactive options offered by Pro:Centric with a platform enabled speaker located by their pillows.
The LQ630H display is customizable — offering personalized templates for each specific display, but also, with LG’s “Express Script,” the LED display can be set up in eight steps and retro-fitted to most hospital infrastructures. With either the Pro:Centric server (PCS150R) or a Free-To-Guest management appliance (FMA-LG101), every display in a network can be controlled, and adjusted, from a single remote location.
Each display is fitted with a b-LAN and, alongside of the Pro:Centric platform, can access Video On Demand services. And, with Pro:Idiom, LG’s Digital Rights Management system, the new displays are also compatible with high definition programming and display.
The LQ630H utilizes EcoSmart technology and has ENERGY STAR 5.3 compliance. Each display utilizes LG’s Dynamic Power Saving technology for automated screen display configuration to match each room and an optional Power Management feature that will turn off the display after a pre-determined limit of no use.
This new LED display features USB cloning and MPI interface points; plus, each display conforms to UL 60065 Annex Q safety requirements, FCC Part 15 Class B, ICES-003, and California Energy Compliance standards.
The LQ630H display is available in the following specifications: 22-, 26-, 32-inch class size. Also, they are backed by LG’s two-year limited warranty.
