MMD, the exclusive licensee for Philips Commercial Signage and Philips Displays, has announced the release of the 47-inch BDL4771V as an addition to its digital menu board series. The new Phillips display was developed as a commercial-grade display for the Quick Service Restaurant market, as well as theatres, amusement parks and stadium arenas.
The 47-inch BDL4771V features an In Plane Switching LCD panel for exceptional picture quality at 1.07 billion display colors and image consistency across multiple monitors. Displayed images can be oriented in either landscape or portrait with precise color saturation and contrast, and content can be viewed from every viewing angle easily and accurately.
The new Philips display features DVI Loopthrough technology that makes the linking of multiple displays through a single digital source possible. With DVI Loopthrough, the Philips displays can be daisy-chained to allow for customizable display combinations, so they can be used, for example, for creating a video wall or menu board configurations that feature multiple displays.
Other features include multi-screen image alignment, heat management and asset life tracking, all of which are standard on other Philips Commercial Signage models. The 47-inch BDL4771V is designed for low power consumption. In addition, the display offers Smart Insert, which enable users to attach a small PC or media player to the back of the panel without increasing the depth of the display. Also, the new display features 700-nit brightness for consistent viewing quality in areas with high levels of ambiance lighting.
The new display can be configured and controlled through a RS232 serial cable, a RJ45 network cable and HDMI via OneWire for simultaneous sending of audio, video and control signals through one cable. Video can also be sent through the display port, which can support 1080p video signals.
The 47-inch BDL4771V is available through MMD business partners worldwide.
