Are you ready to rock? Whether you’re rocking music or announcements, you’re going to need a good set of speakers. Peavey Commercial Audio suggests the company’s new Impulse 261.
This new two-way permanent installation loudspeaker is designed for all types of commercial applications.
On the inside, it has a pair of 6.5-inch woofers and a 1-inch neodymium-loaded, titanium dome tweeter mounted on a waveguide. The connection is via a locking Euro (Phoenix-type) connector with screw terminals.
This speaker promises plenty of power with an 8-ohm thru output (150 watts continuous, 300 watts program, 600 watts peak), or you can opt for the Impulse 261T, which is transformer equipped with 70.7V (60W, 30W, 15W, 7.5W) and 100V (60W, 30W, 15W) outputs.
Other features on the 261 include an injection-molded ABS enclosure, which is available in both black and white. That vented cabinet also features a powder-coated metal grille, a weather-resistant design, and a wide-aiming mounting bracket.
Backed by a free five-year extended warranty, Peavey has priced the Impulse 261 at $299.99. Both the Impulse 261 and Impulse 261T are available now from authorized Peavey Commercial Audio contractors and installers.
