Lighting may seem pretty basic, but the keypad has come a long way. Savant Systems LLC just debuted a trio of keypad styles, known as Metropolitan, Circa and Echo.
Designed to complement the company’s Apple iOS control solutions, the three new offerings will replace Savant’s existing keypad products. All three are inspired by LiteTouch designs and are customizable for control and button options, via Savant’s RacePoint Blueprint configuration tool.
“Our new keypads are an attractive and familiar control solution in direct response to the needs of our sales channel,” explained Savant CEO Robert Madonna. “Savant’s user interface options now encompass a broad range of the most intuitive solutions including keypads for any decor that provide one-touch access to fully customizable automation features.”
Savant says that the new keypad can provide control over audio/video, climate, window treatments, lighting and other applicable subsystems.
Available in a vertical configuration, the Echo can deliver up to 10 points of control per single-gang keypad. Metropolitan offers up to nine points of control, in either vertical or horizontal configurations. Finally, the Circa is available in a vertical, horizontal or “square” style, with up to six points of control per single-gang keypad.
Other features include 13 field-changeable LED colors and a choice of faceplate and button colors.
Savant is taking orders for the keypads now, with plans to deliver the Metropolitan and Circa styles in late June. The Echo will follow later this summer, shipping in August.
