Central Wesleyan Church 2011 Easter service: According to Paul VanDyke, Technical Director at Wesleyan, “We basically lit a lot of Allegro and Voile drape with Martin Mac TW1 wash fixtures. Mac 700 fixtures were also used for effect lighting. An interesting effect we did was, at the beginning of the service: no drape was visible. At the appropriate time in the service, the drape suddenly and dramatically appeared. Most of it was pulled up from the ground. We hired Hall and Associates Flying Effects to rig a complex system of pulleys and counterweights. In all, there were 14 lines that pulled the drapes up. This was all able to pulled by one operator.”
